Xploro\u00ae is an application developed by Corporation Pop that uses augmented reality, gameplay and artificial intelligence to deliver health information to children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study was led by Professor Lucy Bray from Edge Hill University and data collection occurred at the Royal Manchester Children\u2019s Hospital.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study has identified the information needs of children coming to hospital for planned procedures. The study has demonstrated that Xploro\u00ae improves children and parent\u2019s knowledge and satisfaction of a planned procedure and reduces children and parent\u2019s procedural anxiety.
