Food waste and the climate crisis: what can we do in a system with waste designed in and how might we want to change it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This webinar will explore the impact that food waste has on the climate and our environments. What can individuals, communities and institutions do to tackle food waste in a global food system which often has waste built into the business model?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel Marshall has a PhD in soil science and a research background in the impacts of waste and agricultural management on soil health. She now works on a community climate action project called Closing Loops – which is looking to stimulate a regenerative and zero-waste economy in Lancaster District.
