Photographs of students
The Edge Hill Archive has a large collection of photographs relating the history of the institution from 1885 into the twenty-first century. Sometimes we don’t have a lot of information about them, but the content can tell us so much about student life. Here we have included photographs of some important and evocative moments for our students. You could put yourself in the place of one of the students in a photo and write a creative or historical piece on that: how did it feel to be the among the first graduating cohort at the new Edge Hill College? Why was involvement in drama productions an important part of training to be a teacher?
