The activities of Research Catalyst formed the basis of the Edge Hill library team’s submission to the Times Higher Education Awards 2023.

These awards celebrate the ‘extraordinary talent, creativity and resourcefulness of individuals and teams working in our universities today.’ Against tough opposition (a record year for entries), we were short listed for Best Library team. The ceremony was held on 7 December at the ACC in Liverpool. Presenting the awards was Sandy Toksvig. Although the trophy for Best University Library team ultimately went to a competitor, a great night was had by all.
Anna Franca, Head of Collections and Archives at Edge Hill University, later spoke to the award sponsors of the library category in the Times Higher Education Awards (Kortext). Their conversation has been published in a blog so to read more about the achievements of the library team, the work of the collaborative research group, Research Catalyst, and the impact of being shortlisted please follow this link: https://www.kortext.com/blog/connecting-with-the-community-edge-hill-university-library/
