On the evening of Thursday 17 November 2022, we held an Archives Caf\u00e9 on the ground floor of the Catalyst, our university library. The purpose of this get together was to raise awareness within the university about the work of our research group and to encourage wider interest and involvement. It was very informal and lots of really interesting conversations took place about the ways in which research linkages were being made to material in the archive as well as about archives more generally. The discussion wheels were no doubt oiled by refreshments, including some excellent cake! We set out our stall and within an hour over thirty people came to take a look and show an interest. We also got a few more members for Research Catalyst, so we felt it had gone well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
