The one-day conference was held by the Royal Historical Society and the Institute of Historical Research at Senate House in London and involved presenters from across the country working on a diverse range of exciting public engagement projects. Dan and Alyson gave a presentation about the research and community engagement work that has been undertaken on the \u2018Women in the Archives\u2019 project. Their paper also focused on the work of Research Catalyst and how historians and archivists at Edge Hill University have been collaborating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 27 April 2023, the History and Archives in Practice Conference was followed up by a further online panel session which included the work of Professor Helen Newall on the \u2018Story of the Great War, Will Bradshaw\u2019s Journal\u2019 project.
