Every Child Counts Workshop
The Faculty of Education’s Every Child Counts (ECC) mathematics intervention programs offer targeted support to pupils at risk of falling behind and providing them with the tools, support, and confidence to succeed. Through early, tailored intervention and empowering mentors to deliver impactful, research-based support, ECC programmes help close learning gaps and unlock each child’s potential – laying the foundation for lifelong educational and personal success.
In this session you will learn more about the professional development opportunities that ECC offers via Edge Hill University, the outcomes of the recently published Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) effectiveness trial and be among the first to see a new short film showcasing ECC in action, highlighting its impact on pupils and staff.
The session will conclude with a roundtable discussion with educators trained in ECC sharing real-world insights and success stories, offering a powerful glimpse into how these evidence-based interventions are closing gaps, building confidence, and transforming outcomes in maths.
