{"id":315,"date":"2025-06-23T14:53:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T14:53:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.edgehill.ac.uk\/rpdc\/?page_id=315"},"modified":"2025-07-11T12:55:22","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T12:55:22","slug":"lisa-lunt-and-dr-denise-wright","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.edgehill.ac.uk\/rpdc\/lisa-lunt-and-dr-denise-wright\/","title":{"rendered":"Lisa Lunt and Dr Denise Wright"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Liverpool City Council<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the delivery of evidence-based Nurturing programmes and home learning education programmes are impacting on parent child relationships and early childhood education for children in Liverpool in line with National Family Hub Agendas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This session will offer two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embedding impact measurement in Nurturing programme delivery in Liverpool<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liverpool City Council have worked with the Centre for Emotional Health to embed impact measurement and evaluation in the delivery of the Nurturing Programmes across Family Hubs, Children Centres, Primary Schools and third sector community agencies who deliver the Nurturing programme to parents across the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nurturing programme is an evidence-based programme, for parents of children aged from birth to 12 years and focuses on improving parent\/ child relationships and emotional wellbeing. This session will explore the value of collaboration to increase breadth, depth and power of outcomes data, evidencing impact and positive change for children and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa Lunt, Parenting Co-Ordinator \u2013 Family Help, Liverpool City Council<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents as First Educators \u2013 Promoting the Home Learning Environment for children and families in Liverpool using PEEP Learning Together evidence-based play sessions and BBC Tiny Happy People resources across Family Hubs and Children Centres through the creation of \u2018Wonder Hub,\u2019 Liverpool\u2019s city-wide home learning offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Home Learning Environment is a key strand area for Family Hub service delivery and incorporates promotion of children\u2019s speech and language development, social and emotional development and early years education. In this session we will explore how the PEEP Learning Together programme and BBCTHP digital content have been embedded across family hubs, children centres, early years and PVI settings in Liverpool.
