It will delve into the effectiveness of this relatively new role, examining its impact on promoting mental health within the school environment. &nbsp;<br><br>I will critically analyse the barriers that impede SMHLs&#8217; effectiveness. Key challenges include lack of time and resources, insufficient support and guidance, and role ambiguity.
