One of its substantive pillars involves supporting the generative economy. This is an economy that is socially fair and ecological, and ensures that wealth remains in communities rather than being siphoned off by distant multinationals and shareholders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This webinar discusses a small-scale participatory research project (funded by QR-SPF) that took place in Skelmersdale and explored the benefits of the small business and social enterprise sector as well as the barriers and challenges they face, including participation in the supply chains of anchor institutions.
