The video series was developed in partnership with Sefton Council and Southport Eco Visitor Centre and was narrated by school children aged 6-8 years old from the Merseyside area. Join us for 1 hour as we show you the science behind the videos. Explore with us why is it important to empower kids (and adults) to understand some of the complex interactions regulating coastal dynamics at a variety of temporal and spatial scales, and to trigger awareness and interest on coasts from an early age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/geography\/staff\/irene-delgado-fernandez\/\"><span style=\"color: #0693e3;\" class=\"ugb-highlight\">Irene Delgado-Fernandez is Professor of Coastal Geomorphology at Edge Hill University<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #0693e3;\" class=\"ugb-highlight\"> <\/span>where she started as Lecturer in 2012 following postdoctoral work at the University of Ulster (Northern Ireland) and PhD work at the University of Guelph (Canada).
