Edge Hill’s Practice Research group is based in the department of English and Creative Arts and is co-led by Dr Chris Green (Performance) and Dr Kim Wiltshire (Creative Writing). The group membership can be found here: members page and members cover a range of creative practice research, from film and video to arts and health to performance.
Because of the range of outputs that can come from a piece of practice research, it is often more difficult to showcase than ‘traditional’ research papers or monographs. On this website we will showcase the current work of members linked to Edge Hill’s two research depositories, Pure and FigShare.
As a research group, we are dedicated to championing open research in the arts and to supporting external and internal funding bids, mentoring ECRs and forming strategic partnerships with regional and national cultural institutions, community groups and creative industries.
