What are the best physical activities to keep your mind active?

This workshop involves physical activity and active mind (Aithal-expert in physical activity) in ageing.

Through the course of the workshop, Dr David Marchant will present activity and ageing related content.

Central to the U3A (Aughton and Ormskirk) is the provision of a range of physical and mental activities which might be expected to slow the ageing process in older people.

Which of them singly or in combination would be expected to be most successful in slowing the mental and/or physical ageing process?

Besides talks about physical activity and healthy ageing, Dr Marchant will also share three exercises to promote healthy ageing and dance movement.

The workshop follows a dialogue based dynamic and will involve the completion of exercises and movements.
