Andy is the research lead for the programme with expertise in research in sport, education and mental health.

Aston Munro

Aston is responsible for measuring the impact of the programme on children and young people and will evaluate how student mentors benefit from knowledge exchange opportunities.

Emily McCurrie

Partnership Development and Engagement Manager, Edge Hill University

Emily will focus on developing partnership engagement with schools and education providers to create opportunities for student employability, work experience and enrichment activities.

Dr Emma Curd

Emma will oversee the development and delivery of the new arts strand and will work to encourage young people to use art as a tool to explore, understand and aid their emotional health and wellbeing.

James Ratcliffe

Tackling the Blues Coordinator,
Everton in the Community

James will help develop the programme’s sports and physical activity strand. James completed his MSc in Sport, Physical Activity and Mental Health at Edge Hill, where he was a lead mentor on Tackling the Blues.

Louise is responsible for ensuring effective communications throughout the partnership and promoting the programme as a whole.

Louise is responsible for the Exhibitions and Learning Teams and will be acting as the strategic lead on Tackling the Blues on behalf of Tate Liverpool.

Mike leads the Tackling the Blues team at Everton in the Community.

Phil McClure
