New to Mentoring – optional mentor drop in sessions
We are offering an optional opportunity to drop in for New to Mentoring colleagues.
At each drop in, we will focus the first 5 minutes on an identified aspect from the feedback in the New to Mentoring audits. This will be followed by an opportunity to ask any questions or discuss any queries you may have regarding mentoring with one of our EHU Lead Mentors, who are experienced school-based mentors.
This briefing will discuss supporting trainees into professional practice, how to run the weekly development meetings and give practical examples of how to use the WDS cycle in different key stages to help set appropriate targets and facilitate progress.
