End of Year Celebration Events
All our partner schools are invited to end of year celebration events at Everton in the Community and Tate Liverpool. As a partner school, you will receive an invite from your Tackling the Blues Coordinator directly. This is a great opportunity to visit Goodison Park and Tate Liverpool with your class.
We are holding a final end of year celebration event at Edge Hill University in the autumn term, more information on this event will be posted here soon!

17th May FREE Art Workshop
On Tuesday 17th May 5-7pm we held a free art workshop in the SU Bar. We worked with an artist from Tate Liverpool and all the participants to celebrate diversity, identity, mental health and feelings of empowerment.

University Mental Health Day #UniMentalHealthDay

Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week
? 7 – 13 February 2022

During Children’s Mental Health Week our Student Mentors shared several messages daily on our socials, which contained strategies for children and young people to make steps to improve their mental health literacy. We showcased partner school Leamington Primary and their whole school approach to mental health and spoke to some of their pupils and staff- read our news article to find out more.
We worked with children during the sessions to collectively create ‘Growing Together Trees’ in keeping with the theme. These trees will be on display in all three partner locations, dates to be confirmed soon.

Time to Talk Day

On Time to Talk Day we encouraged our students and school pupils to have conversations about mental health and effective strategies to start the conversation.

International Men’s Day

On International Men’s Day we aimed to engage mainly male students but was open to all to encourage better relationships between all genders. During the day, we held a free comedy session, talks from ex- professional sport players and signposted to support services.
