LancsCAN is looking to work alongside Lancashire’s 15 councils to help the county realise its ambitious, urgent climate action goals. A dialogue mechanism is being established between LancsCAN and the councils for this purpose, including on the climate, environment and other relevant priorities of the Lancashire 2050 Plan.
There are also a number of Lancashire councils who are members of LancsCAN, including Blackpool, Burnley, Lancashire County, Pendle, South Ribble and West Lancashire. LancsCAN aims to become a strong and effective partner in the county, provided an organised representative community voice on climate action.
We are organising future Lancashire community climate action events and activities that Lancashire councils and other relevant organisations and people will be warmly invited to participate in.
