Clarion House Whit Walk, Sunday 2nd June, 10am – 2:30pm

A family friendly event – bring a picnic. Starts at Unity Hall where you can have a brew and look around before walk sets off at 10:30am. (Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.)

Garstang Short Walk, Monday 3rd June, 11am – 12pm

Join the Wyre Coast and Countryside Service’s volunteer walk leaders for a relaxed walk along the footpaths and tracks of Garstang’s countryside and historic Market Town; taking in fresh air and enjoying the views of the River Wyre, Lancaster Canal and the Bowland hills. Suitable for all ages but under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Calder Vale Short Walk, Tuesday 4th June, 2pm – 3pm

A country circular walk along lanes, tracks and across fields. Possibly using stiles. (Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.)

Dunsop Valley Tramper Trek, Thursday 6th June, 11am – 2pm

Explore the heart of the Forest of Bowland, either on foot or by Tramper.

Pendle Hill Chartists’ Walk, Saturday 8th June, 10:15am – 2:30pm

A Pendle Radicals Walk.

An annual walk to the Chartists’ Well tocelebrate the Pendle Hill Chartists Camps held here in June 1841 and 1842. Includes history talk and readings.
