Saffron is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sport and Physical Activity. Her research, which is funded by CIMSPA, aims to understand the extent to which regulation of the sporting workforce can reduce harm and/or abuse and the barriers or constraints facing the sports workforce in the implementation of a coach registration scheme. Saffron is supervised by Dr Emily Lovett (Sport), Prof Andy Smith (Education), and Prof Mel Lang (Social Sciences).
