Goal 17 is about working in partnership to achieve the SDGs. Goal 17:14 states that Policy Coherence is an essential aspect of sustainable development. So, what does PCSD look like in practice? How does it help us to meet the SDGs, and why is it so important?
In this webinar, Dr Alison Clark from the Liverpool World Centre will survey recent UK activity on the SDGs at government level including the challenge of measuring progress towards the Goals. She will also give examples of initiatives at a local level and suggest how we can create coherent policy approaches which will support sustainable development. This is vital now more than ever, as we enter the Decade of Action leading up to 2030.
