Education for Sustainability has a focus on developing the knowledge, skills and values related to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including how to apply this education to produce change that has local, national and international level impact.

In this webinar, Prof John Sandars (EHU Medical School) argues that a sustainable approach is essential if the potential of Education for Sustainability is to be fully realised, both in the short and long term. This requires embedding Education for Sustainability into all of the formal and informal educational opportunities provided at Edge Hill University but also by ensuring there is a reciprocal process with the wider local, national and international community.

The talk was held through Zoom on Wednesday 16th December.
